The ClubThe Midland Golden Retriever Club was founded in 1976 by a small local band of Golden Retriever enthusiasts. Championship Show status was granted soon after. The club has grown considerably and has Members from all over the United Kingdom and abroad.
Club ObjectivesThe club is committed to the general good and enjoyment of the Golden Retriever as listed in the rules:
a) to promote and encourage the breeding of Golden Retrievers in accordance with the Breed Standard
b) to promote and encourage the training and working of the breed
