Harry first came in to us in June 2008 when his original owners were emigrating to Australia. Then, 3 years old, Harry arrived with his companion Charlie, aged 7 years. They were homed together with an older gentleman who lived with his daughter. The boys were very happy here until Mr Brown passed away and by then his daughter had another dog and she could not manage all three on a walk etc. We were asked to find a good home for Harry and she would keep Charlie as he was now in his twilight years. |

Last month we launched an urgent appeal for new foster homes to help us with our rescue work. We received a really good response and now have a sufficient pool of foster homes, thank you! We understand that many people cannot offer a foster or permanent home to a Rescued Golden but do contribute in various ways. We greatly appreciate the monetary donations received, particularly through various fundraising events however, we would also be grateful to receive any donations of clean blankets/bedding, food or other suitable items.
